My Must Haves

Lashes give me my life, honey.

A good set has the ability to transform your entire face and are always the perfect finishing touch to any look. Over the course of my own personal beauty evolution, I've fucked with everything from bombshell & fluffy, to edgy & spiky.

I may like my lashes BBW, but there are tons of other styles that will give you a more natural appearance and are just as gorgeous!

Currently, my go to style tends towards dramatically full but sometimes, with my smaller eyes, an intense lash and a thick band can be a little overwhelming. I like to keep a nice variety of styles on deck so I'm able to easily switch it up when I'm not feeling down for a heavier look.

It's important to choose what works for your eye shape and your personal style!

Quick Tip: Don't be afraid to trim your lash to fit! Lash bands ARE NOT created equally and neither are your eyes, so customize the lash to fit comfortably on your lash line before trying to wear them.
A small snip on either end should do the trick, and will make the world of a difference!

"Titles to Read"

"Baby Teeth" - by Zoje Stage

"Estranged from her own mother, Suzette is determined to raise her beautiful daughter with the love, care, and support she was denied.
But Hanna proves to be a difficult child. Now seven-years-old, she has yet to utter a word, despite being able to read and write. Defiant and anti-social, she refuses to behave in kindergarten classes, forcing Suzette to home school her. Resentful of her mother’s rules and attentions, Hanna lashes out in anger, becoming more aggressive every day. The only time Hanna is truly happy is when she’s with her father. Suzette knows her clever and manipulative daughter doesn’t love her. She can see the hatred and jealousy in her eyes.
And as Hanna’s subtle acts of cruelty threaten to tear her and Alex apart, Suzette fears her very life may be in grave danger…" - Barnes and Noble

"The Obstacle is the Way" - by Ryan Holiday

"The book draws its inspiration from stoicism, the ancient Greek philosophy of enduring pain or adversity with perseverance and resilience. Stoics focus on the things they can control, let go of everything else, and turn every new obstacle into an opportunity to get better, stronger, tougher. As Marcus Aurelius put it nearly 2000 years ago: “The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way.”
Ryan Holiday shows us how some of the most successful people in history—from John D. Rockefeller to Amelia Earhart to Ulysses S. Grant to Steve Jobs—have applied stoicism to overcome difficult or even impossible situations. Their embrace of these principles ultimately mattered more than their natural intelligence, talents, or luck.

If you’re feeling frustrated, demoralized, or stuck in a rut, this book can help you turn your problems into your biggest advantages. And along the way it will inspire you with dozens of true stories of the greats from every age and era." - Barnes & Noble

"The Witch Elm" - by Tana French

"Toby is a happy-go-lucky charmer who's dodged a scrape at work and is celebrating with friends when the night takes a turn that will change his life - he surprises two burglars who beat him and leave him for dead.
Struggling to recover from his injuries, beginning to understand that he might never be the same man again, he takes refuge at his family's ancestral home to care for his dying uncle Hugo.
Then a skull is found in the trunk of an elm tree in the garden - and as detectives close in, Toby is forced to face the possibility that his past may not be what he has always believed." - Barnes & Noble

The practice of healing through crystals centers around the belief that each stone possesses a distinct blend of vibrational properties. This elemental power can then be harnessed and intentionally channeled to promote the alignment of one's energy within the body & the mind.
I've been intrigued by the concept of crystals for as long as I can remember, and a few years ago, I was like fuck it and decided to join my mom on the Granola/Wiccan/"I'm Spiritual, Not Religious" bandwagon.
& I've seriously been obsessed ever since!

So I've created my personal "must have" list of essential crystals that you lowkey need in your life:

C I T R I N E

my all time favorite crystal, who's intensely powerful properties are perfect for times of transition or when manifesting new and exciting opportunities  [hi, recent Vegas move!]

key elements:
+ promotes increased abundance and prosperity, while encouraging one's sense of generosity
+ enhances the flow and frequency of tangible ideas and visualizations
+ releases the higher consciousness from the control of deep-rooted fears and destructive tendencies

R O S E   Q U A R T Z

I recently gifted my sister with a small piece of raw rose quartz and she's been in love with it ever since! It's incredibly beneficial when dealing with grief resulting from a major loss

key elements:
+ reduces stress while promoting a calm demeanor
+ dispels any feelings of resentment or inadequacy
+ heals through feminine energy to awaken and balance the heart chakra

A M E T H Y S T

this was actually one of the very first crystals I ever owned and was given to me by my mom. I still credit amethyst with pretty much establishing my love of crystals to this day!

key elements:
+ helps curb habitual addictive behaviors
+ imparts mental clarity, opening the mind to a higher level of communication and guidance
+ improves one's self-awareness and instills the strong possession of deep personal insight

G A R N E T

this crystal is my birthstone, so naturally it had to make the list! I didn't really care for it much as a kid, but I've since grown to have a deeper appreciation for it's impressive healing properties

key elements:
+ bestows a renewed sense of vitality and tangible charisma, presented through one's gifts and abilities
+ increases willpower and establishes a vibration of reinforced resistance to the attraction of any negative energy
+ promotes a sense of unification with the energy of the universe's creative forces

S E L E N I T E

the only crystal I've ever lost, which still breaks my heart to this day! It's such a gorgeous and impressively versatile stone that's at the very top of my list to repurchase as soon as I get the chance

key elements:
+ restores harmony within relationships by instilling a deeper desire for mutual understanding and respect for differing perspectives
+ one of the few and bests stone that can be used to cleanse and recharge the energy of your other crystals
+ aligns the crown chakra, restoring a high level of self-awareness and filtering out any ego-based thoughts

And that's the list, kids!
If you're interested in learning more, hopefully this list can provide you with a good place to start.

Focus on identifying what exactly your emotional needs are, and then go from there!
